One of the aspects to make my exhibition successful was to make a book full of digital images displaying the colours and details of the places I am shooting at. I really wanted to capture the detail of these beautiful tiles at Strata Florida. The idea is to work on he book as a digital portfolio and have the film printed circles displayed on the wall.
I started to create the book like last semester although I picked a new programme to work from, Blurb. I found burp much easier to work with as they had different templates and layouts to chose from. I decided I wanted to keep it more classic this time with only images to a page and no text. The text can come at the beginning and end but not with the photographs as I really want the people to fully emerge themselves into the book and delve deep into the history of the subject surrounding it all.
I was working with the traditional digital shape until an idea struck in my head about changing all the digitals to rounds like the film. This way they connect well with the other work and they also relate to this eternity and divineness of religion and being the one true god that is never ending.
